HALL OF FAME AWARD FOR PATSY O HAGAN

The legendary Patsy O Hagan will receive the Gerry Watters Hall of Fame award at this year’s Bard Finals in the Armagh City Hotel on Friday 19 November.  Patsy is a bard in big demand.  A supreme entertainer, poet, storyteller, raconteur, he has been enthralling audiences for many years now with his unique brand of down to earth humour.  Should it be a wedding reception, a grand civic gathering, a fundraiser, a gala ball, a victory dinner, a family celebration, Patsy can tailor his performance to suit the circumstances and one thing is guaranteed without fail, laughter and humour of the highest order.  His audience sense is rare, always commanding and totally intimate, holding each person captivated in the palm of his hand, turning  the ripple of laughter to a crescendo then a tidal wave. By nature an honest and down to earth man, Patsy is truly deserving of this award, dedicated to the memory of the late Gerry Watters.  A three times winner of the competition, he is sure to receive a thunderous reception and the chances of him performing one of his famous odes are high.
